Planned gifts allow you to fund the future of Christian Senior Services. Making a gift through your estate is one of the most effective ways to ensure that we can carry on our mission of helping seniors far into the future.

Gifts Through a Will or Living Trust
You can arrange a gift of a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or even all or part of the residuary of your estate. If you would like to make such a gift, please visit with your attorney first and then contact our Development Department.

Gifts Through Life Insurance
Naming Christian Senior Services as the beneficiary of your life insurance policy is a simple and smart way to provide for our organization. It may also benefit your heirs through avoidance or substantial income and estate taxes.

Gifts Through Retirement Plans
Create a legacy by naming Christian Senior Services as beneficiary or contingent beneficiary of an IRA, 401(k), 403(b), or other qualified retirement plan. Upon your death, all or a portion of the unused balance in your account is transferred as a charitable gift. When you leave a retirement account to a charity, the organization does not pay the income tax otherwise due if left to a friend or non-spouse family member.

Senior Companion Program

Aside from additional Senior Companions enrolling into our program so we can minimize our waiting list, we would very much appreciate the following items…

• Magazines/games (checkers, dominoes, cards, puzzles)/arts and crafts supplies for volunteers to do with clients
• Door Prizes for volunteers at monthly meetings

• Speakers from non-profit or government agencies on topics of interest to older adults (to speak at one of our monthly meetings)
